RPGaDay 2024 Day 1 - First RPG you Bought this year





Days late, yet still ready to pump some #Content™. Day one's task is to note down and talk about the first RPG I bought this year. I don't count the PDFs I got for this, so the first RPG I bought this year was Gallant Knight Games' Zorro Roleplaying Game. From what I recollect of my readthrough, Zorro was pretty great, especially as a brand-new iteration of the D6 system. More thoughts on the Zorro RPG in an upcoming review.

I guess I will give the copout answer and say Labyrinth Lord is the oldest game I've played due to its lineage as a B/X D&D Clone.  Today, I introduce my long-time phantasmal reverie of The Chronicles of Afterlight. Imagine a world that is our Earth but an alternate one far across the cosmic void between universes. In this alternate Earth in the late 21st century, more precisely, August 23rd, 2093 C.E., a tear in the fabric of reality occurred. Experiments in Hyperspace pylons lead to rifts into the void between worlds.
