Darwin's World - The Best kept secret in Post Apocalypse RPGs

Darwin's World is probably among my favorite settings in gaming. I sincerely wish I had more time spent playing it. Luckily I have started playing in a Campaign with Grim Jim and T-shirted Historian among others. The system we have been using is Other Dust and to say the least, the setting is pretty different from the Twisted Earth.

However, we have encountered The Clean Water Cartel, a Mutagon whose lair was in a ruined mattress store in a strip mall. We also fought some Plague Zombies which was pretty awesome. By the by our characters are all Humans who got cryogenically frozen in 2018 so we are not natives to the twisted earth. Also, last session we gained a new NPC who is apparently a female Assassin Android.

All in all The Twisted Earth and by effect The Darwin's World Rules are quite honestly my favorite out of all Post Apocalypse TTRPG settings. It's got androids, brutal and realistic mutations, defects, Slavery, Sexism, Genocide, Drugs, and all wrapped up in a degenerated world of Post-Apocalyptic Horror Adventurers. I highly recommend the books even if you don't play D20 Modern or Savage Worlds. The setting is the "chef's kiss" choice.
